C&D Sales was founded forty years ago as a fishing tackle manufacturer and distributer. Twenty two years ago we branched into the screen printing business. We started in the back room of our bait and tackle shop and we are now housed in a 6,000 square foot facility.
We have grown to two manual printing presses and a ten color automatic printing press, 26 embroidery heads, a chenile machine, a quilting machine and complete graphics department and embroidery digitizing department.
Cathy and Dave worked hard to build our company to its status today, along the way providing a career for their family. Today, four generations work together to produce some of the finest screenprinted and embroidered products. Our newest junior exectutive anxiously waits to take your calls.
But even though we and our staff have strived to grow our company, we acknowledge that our success is not our doing alone. We fully acknoledge that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the true reason for our success. When our company was informed our rent would be doubled at our previous smaller location, He provided a new facility imediately that was three times the size, divided perfectly to suit our needs, and by buying it ourselves at far lower than the asking price we own a building that costs less than our old rent.
We have been preserved through family crisis, two major managers suffered strokes, one a heart attack as well. We have survived difficult financial hardship and personal trajedy. But through all we have found comfort, strength and ability through the power of Christ.
We understand that the opinion of our ownership is not necessarly that of our employees or our customers, but we feel obliged to share the peace and strength that we have found. We respect the right of all our customers and employees to hold their own personal beliefs. We are but poor starving souls sharing with all where we found bread.
